I managed to finish my first paper pieced coaster and really like how it has turned out. I’m definitely going to make some more of these in different colours for different rooms in the house.
I’m going away for a few weeks and have been sorting out some hand sewing to take with me. I’m taking Lucy Heaton’s lovely retro deer cross stitch. I really love the colours in this design and the cheerful flower motif.
I’m also going to take block 1 of Lynette Anderson’s Crazy Christmas BOM stitchery. I really want to make a tree skirt and table top for Christmas so I’m hoping I’ll be able to incorporate some of these blocks somehow.

Dropped by from FP WIP Weds, isn’t paper piecing wonderful? It would be so difficult to manage the small pieces in your coaster if you didn’t have the paper backing. Great deer cross stitch too. 🙂
