I grew up in London so when I saw this bundle at Fabricworm I had to have it. I just love the one with Big Ben, a London taxi and the underground sign.
I added some solids and decided to try a disappearing nine patch.
I used up the scraps on the back.
This is the first time I’ve machine quilted a quilt. I guess practise makes perfect but at least it wasn’t a complete disaster. I’m just finishing up the binding so I can get it in the post for Christmas.
Those fabrics are fantastic. Love the colours too.
I love the fabric you used! and yay for the scrappy back I love the unexpected on the back.
Oo! I love disappearing 9 patch and it looks especially incredible with this fabric!
love it, and I love those fabrics as well… the designs are adorable and I love the bold colors!
