I managed to finish my Luxe in Bloom quilt this week and the sun was shining so I took it for a walk with the dog to try and get some pretty photos.
All of the fabrics are from Art Gallery Fabrics and the pattern is one of their free designs. I love this fabric line. The grey and navy are lovely together.
I backed the quilt with my favourite navy fabric. I just love the little lime green geckos.
Jasper wasn’t interested in photographing quilts.
I’m linking up withCrazy Mom Quilts and TGIFF
These are beautiful photos of a beautiful quilt.
Thanks Lisa, I’m very lucky to live in such a pretty town.
Awesome quilt! I love the design and the neural colors.
Love your photos! I’ve wanted to sew with Luxe in Bloom for a while now. I also like the pattern. I might have to “travel” more with my quilts to get such lovely photos as you have here. Thank you for sharing!
pretty!! Art Gallery fabrics are so scrumptiously soft!! It looks like you used a mix of machine and handquilting ~ I love doing that too 🙂
(how is your under the sea (that might not be the correct name…) quilt coming along? I’m eager to see what you do with it)
Oh Tracy I’m procrastinating. My quilt top is a whopper so I need to piece the backing with scraps and yardage. I don’t have a design wall that’s big enough so our spare bed is covered in fabric that I keep moving around. I’ve started sewing the backing together but am still working in to final layout.
Aren’t Art Gallery Fabrics great? Love them! Beautiful quilt, Emma! Fab photos too. So glad you linked up to TGIFF!
Yes, they are lovely fabrics. Sadly my local shop has stopped selling them 😢. Thanks for the link up it was lots of fun.
