I haven’t stitched much on my original list this week as I added a hanging advent calendar made of felt mittens. I wanted to finish it ready for the 1st and love how it turned out. I’ve been busy hanging decorations this weekend but hope to knuckle down to my list this week.
1. A cushion for my farther Christmas cross stitch.
2. At least 2 cooking aprons and pot holders (Christmas gifts)- 2 aprons finished
3. Tree skirt
4. Table runner
5. Felt ornaments – 3 finished
6. A couple of Lynette Anderson’s Crazy Christmas blocks.
7. Christmas stockings – 3 finished
8. Egg cup cosies (gifts) – 2 finished
9. Papier-mâché ornaments – 2 finished
10. Mitten advent calendar – finished
Aak! Total cuteness overload. LOVE those mittens. What a fabulous idea. Definitely worth putting the list on hold for the week. 🙂
I’m glad you like the mittens Erin they were great fun to make.

I’d love to see the finished egg cup cozies!
Thanks Julie
If you scroll back to week 7 you can see my cozies https://happygoluckyquilter.wordpress.com/2013/11/18/making-christmas-week-7/
They are an adaptation of the pattern in Clare Young ‘Scandinavian Needlecraft’ http://clareyoungs.co.uk/book/scandinavian-needlecraft-5/
